RDRS Established in 1972 as the field program of Lutheran World Federation, Geneva, RDRS became a national development organization in 1997 under the Trust Act.

∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting application from the deserving candidates for the position of Senior Manager (Accounting) for its Finance & Accounts department for the Microfinance Program. The position is based at RDRS Head Office in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation and supervision of monthly and annual financial statements of microfinance program (Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Income and Expenditure, and Statement Cash Flows) as per organizational procedures & policies, in compliance with IAS/IFRS and MRA regulations.
∎ Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
∎ Maintaining accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts, and defining accounting policies and procedures.
∎ Checking & verifying all transactions before posting in the ledger check money receipts, bills, vouchers, daily expenses as per company Policy, etc.
∎ Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department and supporting the financial accounting management function of the Regional Offices.
∎ Prepare annual and multi-year Budgets for Microfinance in collaboration with the related staff of microfinance.
∎ Preparation and supervising of budget variance analysis- monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/ yearly.
∎ Provide timely and accurate analysis of Budgets, Financial Reports, and Financial Trends in order to assist the Management team to perform their responsibilities.
∎ Preparation of Statement of VAT and Tax - monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/ yearly.
∎ Facilitate the auditors (internal and external) with financial and relevant information.
∎ Visit different Regions and Branch Offices to monitor the record-keeping in the field accounts offices from time to time.
∎ Facilitate the visitors/donors during their visit to Field for progress monitoring.
∎ Assist to implement new Software and operate in full face.
∎ Ensure the financial data posting in the software on time-to-time update.
∎ Preparation of loan proposal for external borrowing.
∎ Provide various financial information to Bank, PKSF, MRA, and other Donors.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor that are relevant to the job and related to RDRS Bangladesh objectives.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 34 years
∎ At least 2 years experience to work in managerial position;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Very good behavior;
∎ Have innovative ideas.
∎ Very good keyboard skill in Bangla and English
Salary:
∎ Tk. 64000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is negotiable for extra ordinarily deserving candidates
