Job Context:
∎ We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, robust, and high-performance applications using Java technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java technologies
∎ Design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy software solutions
∎ Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
∎ Troubleshoot and debug production issues
∎ Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team
∎ Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
∎ Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
∎ Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
∎ Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
∎ Experience with RESTful web services and microservices architecture
∎ Experience with Git version control system
∎ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Ability to work in a team environment
∎ Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
∎ Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
∎ Experience with Docker and containerization
∎ Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
∎ Experience with Agile development methodologies
