• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from any reputed university.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company,Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration and Development.

• Certified professional (OCP/OCA) with expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.

• Proficient in Oracle Developer Suite (6i/10g/11g) for developing forms and reports.

• Skilled in installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases on Windows and Linux platforms.

• Experienced with RMAN, log shipping, and replication for backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.

• Strong understanding of database security, access control, and audit logging mechanisms.

• Basic knowledge of SAP system landscape, with added familiarity in the SD module.

• Exposure to VMware, Azure, AWS, and other cloud/hybrid infrastructures.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.

• Able to multitask under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and travel when required.

• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and following industry best practices.

Job Description

• Manage Oracle (11g/12c/19c) and MySQL database environments on both Windows and Linux platforms.

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Databases.

• Administer database objects including tables, views, materialized views, indexes, and procedures.

• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL scripts, and queries.

• Analyze and troubleshoot slow-running queries and system performance issues.

• Leverage indexing, caching, query plan analysis, and profiling tools to enhance performance.

• Design and implement comprehensive backup strategies (full, incremental, and differential).

• Manage disaster recovery procedures including point-in-time recovery using RMAN and other tools.

• Enforce database security through role-based access controls and audit logging mechanisms.

• Ensure data protection and compliance with internal and external policies.

• Install and configure Oracle Developer Suite (6i/10g/11g) on Windows platforms.

• Design and develop interfaces and reports using Oracle Forms and Reports.

• Any other tasks assigned by management.
