Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and attachments.
Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting tools).
Strong knowledge of denim garment construction and washing impact on sewing quality.
Good understanding of AQL, inline inspection, and audit systems.
Leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing, and speaking).

Job Responsibilities:
Monitor inline sewing quality to ensure garments meet buyer standards and specifications.
Conduct regular inspections (inline, end-line, and pre-final).
Ensure proper implementation of quality SOPs and checklists.
Maintain AQL standards during production and final inspection.
Identify, analyze, and reduce sewing defects (e.g., skip stitch, puckering, uneven stitching).
Ensure immediate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain defect reports and share daily quality performance with management.
Supervise Quality Inspectors (QIs) and Quality Controllers (QCs) on the sewing floor.
Assign inspection points and monitor their performance.
Train operators and QCs on quality standards and defect prevention.
Work closely with Production, IE, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Attend pre-production (PP) meetings and pilot run approvals.
Ensure style-wise quality requirements are clearly communicated.
Ensure all garments meet buyer quality standards and technical specifications.
Handle buyer inspections and audits when required.
Maintain proper documentation for compliance and traceability.
Analyze root causes of recurring defects and implement improvement plans.
Suggest process and method improvements for better quality output.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Track DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) and other KPIs.
Report major quality issues to management promptly.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
