Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for owning the development.
∎ Focusing on market research, attending fabric shows and interacting with Mkt and buyer
∎ Driving new denim fabric innovation while aligning with design to keep category relevant and competitive
∎ Conduct market research to identify new denim fabrics, how they relate to the brand and understand competitive landscape
∎ Source and develop brand appropriate denim fabric based on aesthetics as well in full alignment with production on sourcing strategy
∎ Identify and manage opportunities for positioning / plat forming of raw materials in collaboration with the MKT team and sourcing overseas offices.
∎ Maintain fabric library and sample yardage inventory for in house drapes and samples
∎ Maintain seasonal fabric charts and design rang and able to prepare own self-designs as per direction.
∎ Should be able to create files & other documents in an organized way
∎ To be creative, an eye for color, pattern making design sense & intensity knowledge.
∎ Team player with proactive interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work hard and control Pressure.
∎ Open minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill.
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.
