Responsibilities & Context:
  • We are looking for a skilled Senior Executive, Procurement to streamline the procurement process by securing optimal suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring seamless purchasing. The role focuses on improving supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and collaborating with internal teams to make procurement smoother and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and select potential suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and contract terms.

  • Negotiate contracts to maximize value for the organization.

  • Ensure supplier contracts are managed effectively by tracking delivery schedules, quality control, and resolving issues.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including logistics, finance, and supply chain, to ensure efficient procurement operations.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation and value analysis.

  • Provide support in managing procurement risks such as supplier insolvency, non-delivery, and quality issues.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance long-term performance and partnerships.

  • Analyze specific procurement categories, such as IT hardware or office supplies, to optimize purchasing strategies.

  • Provide support for analyzing organizational spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

  • Help manage the complete contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to delivery and payment processing.

  • Provide support for inventory management, including stock levels, storage, and the disposal of goods.

  • Help develop initiatives to promote supplier diversity, sustainability, and ethical sourcing practices.

  • Communicate procurement performance metrics and progress reports to internal stakeholders.

  • Support the development of inventory management systems and conduct regular audits.

  • Contribute to business growth by aligning procurement strategies with broader organizational goals and driving innovation.
