Responsibilities & Context:
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal matters.

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies. And, manage the filing system.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company’s operations. Develop and implement risk management strategies.

  • Administrative Oversight: Oversee administrative people and functions, including - office management, procurement, and facilities management. Ensure efficient and effective administrative operations.

  • Policy Development: Develop and implement legal policies and procedures of the company. Ensure all legal policies are up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.

  • Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes and litigation. Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.

  • Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards. Maintain corporate records and documentation.

  • Liaison: Act as a liaison with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Licensing and Certification: Responsible for applying, maintaining and renewing all required licenses/certifications and permits to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
