Garments Manufacturing
Garments Production
Woven Garments
Strong knowledge of SMV calculation, line balancing, and garment manufacturing processes
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Waste Reduction)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and production analysis tools
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills in Bengali and English
The Senior Executive – Industrial Engineering (IE) will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency through accurate time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and productivity improvement. The role requires close coordination with Production, Planning, and Quality teams to optimize manpower, machinery, and methods for achieving production targets.
Responsibilities:
Production Efficiency & Line Support
Conduct time & motion studies to determine SMV (Standard Minute Value)
Assist in line layout planning based on style requirements and operator skill level
Monitor daily line performance, identify bottlenecks, and support supervisors with corrective actions
Analyze worker performance to improve individual and line efficiency
Planning & Optimization
Participate in capacity planning and line loading for smooth order execution
Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Waste Reduction
Support pre-production meetings and layout planning based on order complexity and machine availability
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of production data, efficiency, and operator performance
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly IE reports to the IE Manager
Support digital transformation of IE activities (if applicable)
Continuous Improvement
Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce non-value-added activities
Assist in training workers to optimize motion and increase efficiency
Participate in pilot runs and track results to determine the best production method
