Job Context:
∎ Deshifarmer is building a Seed to Market agri tech platform and offers an end-to-end solution for farmers. The enterprise not only helps farmers for better production but also sells their produce hassle-free. Deshifarmer pre-harvest activities are data collection, onboarding farmers, agri inputs, and advisory support to ensure better quality and quantity harvest and in post-harvest activities, the enterprise does sorting, grading, and packaging, farm-to-business supply chain.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka & 40% field Visit.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop a comprehensive understanding of the seed and pesticide market, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
∎ Conduct area-based sales planning, taking into account the unique characteristics and needs of each geographical area.
∎ Analyze market needs specific to each area and develop targeted marketing strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
∎ Set and achieve sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
∎ Actively seek out new business opportunities and expand the customer base through effective lead generation and prospecting.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
∎ Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and market expansion.
∎ Stay updated on industry developments, new product releases, and regulatory changes affecting the seed and pesticide market.
∎ Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to the management team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Prior experience working with seeds and pesticides in the agriculture industry is highly preferred.
∎ Willingness to travel to various locations for onboarding, training, and monitoring activities with channel partners.
∎ Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to agriculture business and supply chain management.
Salary:
∎ Salary: 25,000/- Taka (Monthly).
