Responsibilities & Context:
Decor Interior Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced and responsible Senior Engineer (Civil) to manage and execute construction projects across Bangladesh. The candidate must have strong leadership, technical, and coordination skills, especially in government projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Must have proven experience in **government projects**
* Take full responsibility for **overall project execution and site management**
* Ensure timely completion and **handover of projects within scheduled deadlines**
* Plan, arrange, and manage **project manpower efficiently**
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, and **government authorities** regularly
* Maintain strong professional relationships with all stakeholders
* Prepare and review **BOQ (Bill of Quantities)** and project cost estimates
* Implement **cost minimization strategies** without compromising quality
* Monitor and control project expenses, including advance and adjustments
* Verify contractor and supplier bills with accuracy
* Ensure proper **material requisition planning and control**
* Maintain strict follow-up on all project activities from start to completion
* Supervise construction works including **Pile, Basement, Superstructure, Sanitary, Plumbing, and Finishing works**
* Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications
* Check and approve technical designs and drawings
* Ensure quality of construction materials and workmanship
* Monitor contractor performance, work progress, and quality standards
* Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain all project documentation
* Provide technical solutions to on-site problems
* Ensure compliance with **health & safety standards** at site
* Coordinate with all internal departments related to the project
