∎ Schedule (hours/days): 37.5 hours in a week starting from Sunday through Thursday
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (CCP) is hiring a Program Officer for a USAID-funded integrated health program focused on capacity strengthening and behavior change in four distinct health areas: Nutrition, Family Planning, Tuberculosis and Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health.
∎ The Senior Editor required to assist the CCP Bangladesh Social and Behavior Change Communication programs in terms of editing the collected footage into high quality videos. He/S will also be assigned for re-purposing other transmedia audiovisual products, i.e. TV drama, travel show etc. for outreach activities. The Senior Editor will report to the Chief of Party (COP).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
∎ The editors will work to ensure timely delivery of the following:
∎
∎ Work with COP on special visual projects
∎ Collaborate with Transmedia team to ensure understanding of TV production, TV drama, social media and other video outputs' storyline, messaging, style, tone, etc.
∎ Work on post-production phase for the allocated videos including ingest, graphics, sound effect, animation, dialog, texts, music track, off-line editing, track lay and ADR sessions
∎ Edit videos to length
∎ Work with the Transmedia team to ensure that robust schedules are created, communicated and followed to ensure that the videos are delivered to Transmedia team on time
∎ Direct and assist in directing various filming, if required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven track record in editing videos for television, social media, etc.
∎ Creative production skills with a well-developed visual sense
∎ Well-developed technical skills, including strong working knowledge of video editing software and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
∎ Good organizational and time management skills, with the proven ability to prioritize across multiple tasks, work independently and maintain attention to detail and deadline adherence
∎ Good experience in television/video production
∎ Experience of working in a development or related setting will be an added advantage
∎ Commitment to equal opportunities and health and safety

∎ Bangladeshi citizen.
∎ Competent in Microsoft Office. Other software skills preferred.
∎ Language Skills: Excellent written and oral skills in Bangla and English.
