∎ Job Summary :
∎ Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (CCP) is hiring a Field Implementation Coordinator for UNICEF activities for community level awareness and establishing peace and enabling environment for the host communities utilizing the power of radios. In this regard, there is a need of engaging consultants who will perform the duties in different settings - in office (Cox`s Bazar) and working locations.
∎ Consultant -Radio Technical Coordinator will be responsible in overall coordination and technical support for implementing the activities for radio programs and relevant field work. The Coordinator will report to the Outreach Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
∎ Organize community engagement sessions:
∎ Organize and provide technical support in developing capacity development of adolescents and Imams/ religious leaders
∎ Provide guidance in drafting scripts and producing radio programs and public service announcements
∎ Offer insights in techniques to improve programs at field level
∎ Form field implementation committee and organize regular meeting / reviews
∎ Coordinate field visits and quality improvement activities
∎ Organize process documentation/s
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience:
∎ 2 years of experience in a radio program and community engagement related role with at least 1 year of specific community engagement with radio program.
∎ Skills and Competencies:
∎ Good understanding on field activities both in host and Rohingya community
∎ Sound in creativity and research skills for developing and implementing field interventions
∎ Experience in coordination with the different contributors and stakeholders
∎ Willing to work with tight deadlines and have perception of value for money
∎ Must have technical aspects include operating a range field activities and best practices
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla
∎ Language Skills: Excellent written and oral skills in Bangla and English.
