Experience:

• At least 2 years

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with HVAC specialization) from any reputed university.

• Age At least 27 years

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, MS Excel, and MS Project; knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, psychrometrics, duct design, piping systems, refrigeration cycles, and equipment selection.

• Knowledge of applicable engineering standards and codes, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, ARI, and BNBC.

• Strong analytical, calculation, and technical drawing skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

• Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry-standard software such as HAP, TRACE, or Elite.

• Design HVAC systems including VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHU, FCU, Ductable, Split, and Ventilation systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

• Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting and piping drawings, equipment schedules, control schematics, and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD.

• Select appropriate HVAC equipment and prepare technical specifications based on project requirements and manufacturer guidelines.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, cost estimates, and techno-commercial proposals.

• Provide technical support to the Sales Team during tendering, client meetings, and project discussions.

• Prepare and maintain design reports, technical submittals, equipment data sheets, and other engineering documentation.

• Ensure HVAC designs comply with applicable standards and codes, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, ARI, BNBC, and client specifications.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and project teams for design approvals, revisions, and technical clarifications.

• Provide technical support during project execution, including site verification, design modifications, and as-built documentation.

• Participate in design review meetings and resolve engineering issues to ensure successful project execution.

• Explore and recommend energy-efficient HVAC solutions and new technologies to improve system performance.

• Maintain design accuracy, quality standards, and timely completion of assigned projects.

• Participate in technical training programs and continuously update knowledge of HVAC products and design practices.
