Job Context:
∎ Work Location: RSC-Asia, Cox`s Bazar Office, Bangladesh.
∎ Reporting to: Cultural Orientation Manager
∎ Department: Cultural Orientation/RSC Asia
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: Till 31st September 2023 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
∎ Remuneration Package: Competitive Base Pay with Fringe Benefits (As per IRC National Pay Scale in Bangladesh)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 (two) years of relevant professional experience including database management and record keeping required.
∎ Experience teaching/training adults preferably in a refugee context.
∎ Experience teaching/training children/youth is a plus.
∎ Experience supervising staff, conducting observations, and developing curriculum desirable.
∎ Experience in refugee resettlement processing including START preferred.
∎ Willingness and ability to travel and/or relocate to processing sites to meet the program's needs.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.
∎ Solid organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, work independently, set priorities, effectively manage time and staff, and meet deadlines.
∎ Excellent spoken and written English.
∎ Knowledge of Rohingya is a plus.
∎ Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
∎ Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Office programs, and e-mail.
