∎ CARE seeks to add expertise to its Community Nutrition practice. CARE implements maternal and child nutrition programs that improve health outcomes worldwide. Experts are invited to apply who have implemented nutrition interventions to improve health outcomes in vulnerable populations. Such nutrition interventions may be components of any of the following program areas: education; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); agriculture; family planning and reproductive health.

∎ Candidates must possess significant experience managing program, financial, and operations of USAID- or other international donor-funded projects.
∎
∎ National and international candidates are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience on donor-funded programs.
∎ Experience with two or more of the following specializations: community health; maternal, neonatal, and child health; nutrition; reproductive health; or social and behavior change.
∎ Previous experience with USAID-funded programs is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of USAID's multi-sectoral nutrition and community-health system strengthening approaches and gender programming is a plus.
∎ Experience living and working in low and moderate income countries is required.
∎ Proven experience in the design, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of international donor-supported programs.
∎ Skills in strategic planning and thinking, management, supervision and budgeting, and experience managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions.
∎ Demonstrated skills building and maintaining relationships with host governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
∎ Fluency in English (spoken and written) required.
