Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in data management, interviewing, or case processing
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience working in durable solutions or a similar humanitarian context preferred.
Prior experience in multicultural environments strongly preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident in stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication.
Ability to apply protection-sensitive approaches, particularly when handling vulnerable cases, such as minors, survivors of violence, or applicants with complex family configurations.
Proficiency in managing case documentation and databases, with experience using CommCare or other case tracking systems for caseload planning and operational reporting.
Proven analytical skills, with the ability to identify bottlenecks, flag inconsistencies, and offer practical solutions for improving processing flow and accuracy.
High attention to detail and quality control, particularly during document verification and CMAF form reviews to avoid duplication, errors, or fraud concerns.
Fluent verbal and written English required. Working knowledge of Rohingya is an advantage.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Data entry and data quality assurance skills; ability to analyze spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Purpose of the Role
The Senior Case Processing Officer plays a critical role in managing resettlement cases with precision, compassion, and operational efficiency. They ensure timely and accurate processing of applications, maintain data integrity, and collaborate across teams to facilitate resettlement process for individuals within the Assisted Passage Program (APP) as implemented by IRC Bangladesh. The role demands strategic oversight, collaborator coordination, and a protection-sensitive approach to vulnerable populations.
Highlights of Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery:
Support applicants through various stages of case processing including prescreening preparation, Biometrics, DoHA interviews, and medical appointments.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure documentation and logistics are in place.
Complete and review Case Management Processing forms to ensure readiness for travel and compliance with resettlement protocols.
Prepare, maintain, and update Case Management Processing Forms accurately in alignment with TOLL and DoHA requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate data updates in the APP database across the applicant journey, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
Assist in preparing applicant files, coordinating schedules, and conducting post-ride quality checks to ensure documentation is complete.
Manage assigned cases efficiently, including exceptional caseloads such as urgent medicals, minors, or those flagged for fraud review.
Contribute to CommCare tracking by supporting data entry, report generation, and trend identification.
Review applicant files to ensure they meet IRC, TOLL, and DoHA guidelines before submission or interviews.
Identify missing documents and follow up proactively.
Liaise with Scheduling, Interpretation, movement, and Pipeline teams for smooth case progression and accurate file handovers.
Communicate with applicants about their upcoming appointments and respond to applicant inquiries with empathy and accuracy, ensuring proper guidance through each processing step.
