Job Context

NewVision Solutions Limited, a Consultancy firm operating in Bangladesh and Japan, supporting multinational companies, development partners, and government agencies in engineering and advisory services.

To strengthen our business expansion initiatives, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Engineer who will lead opportunity identification, proposal development, and strategic client engagement. The role will contribute to projects funded by organizations such as World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Japan International Cooperation Agency. The position is critical for driving sustainable growth, ensuring competitive tender participation, and enhancing long-term client partnerships across Bangladesh and Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors

• Lead pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and client presentations

• Prepare EOIs, technical proposals, and financial proposals

• Coordinate with engineering teams to develop competitive solutions

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis

• Develop partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances

• Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, donors, and private clients

• Monitor ongoing projects for client satisfaction and future opportunities

Required Skills

• Strong technical background (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, etc.)

• Proposal writing and tender documentation expertise

• Knowledge of procurement rules (e.g., PPR, World Bank, ADB, JICA, etc.)

• Negotiation and communication skills

• Market analysis and strategic planning

• Contract management understanding

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Civil.

• 3 - 6 years of relevant experience

• Experience in consultancy, EPC, infrastructure, or development projects

• Strong network within industry
