Job Responsibilities:
∎ Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
∎ Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and create new solutions.
∎ Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational needs.
∎ Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting and hiring.
∎ Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
∎ Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
∎ Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team.
∎ Guiding and assisting the development team throughout the process.
∎ Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow.
∎ Oversight and approval of all final programs and products before formal launch
∎ Prepare an easy-to-understand report for supervisors detailing achieved milestones and short-term project goals
∎ Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
∎ Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
∎ Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design.
∎ Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
∎ Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
∎ Creating high-level product specifications and design documents.
∎ Ensuring that you and the team adhere to development schedules and deadlines.
∎ Testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meets requirements.
∎ Updating software solutions as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Exceptional system architecture and problem-solving skills.
∎ Experience designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications
∎ Experience working on large-scale software projects
∎ Experience overseeing customized development of processes for multiple projects simultaneously
∎ Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms.
∎ Experience in software development and coding in various languages with willingness to learn new technologies for the benefit of the team’s requirements.
∎ Outstanding collaboration, communication, and presentation abilities.
∎ Good comprehension skills with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
∎ Proven experience as software architect
∎ Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
∎ Proficient in development and project deployment cycles (CI/CD DevOps).
∎ Experience in Kubernetes, Go-Lang and client go is required.
∎ Expert in cloud native projects.
∎ Experience in Java Spring Boot.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open-source technologies
∎ Experience of UML and other modelling methods.
∎ Demo a few personal projects
