Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies and procedures, monitoring daily security operations, and ensuring adherence to established protocols.
∎ Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
∎ Supervise and manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
∎ Ensure all security staff are adequately trained in hospital security protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service.
∎ Investigate security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, compiling detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
∎ Provide regular reports on security activities, incidents, and improvement measures to the Manager & Head of Security Services.
∎ Create procedures for the identification of people, approval of limited areas and security of private information.
∎ Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal (bd) ltd is looking for a competent candidate for the Position of ‘‘Security In charge’ for its Kumudini Complex Mirzapur.
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies and procedures, monitoring daily security operations, and ensuring adherence to established protocols.
∎ Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
∎ Supervise and manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

∎ Kumudini Welfare Trust was founded by R P Shaha in June 1947. He was born poor, became very wealthy through his business ventures only to give away all his wealth voluntarily. Between 1938 and 1944 R P Shaha had set up a free dispensary, a 750-bed free hospital named Kumudini Hospital. He established Bharateswari Homes, Kumudini Girls’ College and Debendra College. In 1944 he donated an amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- to the British Red Cross. R P Shaha and his only son were abducted by the Pakistan Army and their collaborators in 1971. They never returned. Along with the hospital, the Trust now runs a Women’s Medical College, a Nursing School and a Nursing College. Funds required for running the welfare activities are obtained from the income generating units of the Trust like jute press and warehouse, garments industry, pharmaceuticals, river transportation, handicrafts etc.
Vision: Kumudini Welfare Trust aims to become a center of excellence for quality healthcare especially for the poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged as well as make medical education and health services affordable and accessible to all. It wishes to provide world class general education especially to the disadvantaged with focus on women’s empowerment. It hopes to generate employment opportunities, create a sustainable environment and contribute to the overall development of the country. The services of the Trust shall always be rendered regardless of race, color, creed, abilities or gender.
Mission: To continually develop the health facilities at Kumudini Hospital including the quality of medical education as well as general education in all educational institutions of the Trust and generate employment opportunities through business ventures.
