Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage end-to-end booking processes for customers, including air tickets and other travel-related services.
∎ Process booking requests and ensure ticketing is completed promptly and accurately through the agency’s system or third-party platforms.
∎ Monitor booking timelines, confirming and issuing tickets, and ensuring all details are accurate before confirming with clients.
∎ Respond to customer inquiries related to ticketing, pricing, availability, booking procedures, and travel policies.
∎ Resolve customer complaints and provide alternatives in case of cancellations, changes in booking status, or delays.
∎ Provide information on travel options, special offers, and the best routes based on customer preferences and budgets.
∎ Ensure all travel documents, including tickets, vouchers, and itineraries, are correctly prepared, issued, and dispatched.
∎ Stay updated on visa requirements, travel restrictions, and other regulatory policies to provide accurate guidance to clients.
∎ Ensure compliance with travel industry standards, airline policies, and company regulations, including refunds and cancellations.
∎ Ensure real-time data entry for bookings and cancellations and manage reports for travel sales, ticketing performance, and other operational metrics.
∎ Generate periodic reports for the management team on bookings, revenue, and cancellations to assist with decision-making.
∎ Coordinate with airlines, hotels, car rental services, and other travel suppliers to ensure availability and optimal pricing.
∎ Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate rates, secure special offers, and ensure smooth handling of any customer issues or complaints.
∎ Handle ticketing queries from suppliers and resolve any issues related to bookings, cancellations, and changes in schedule.
∎ Supervise the daily activities of the ticketing team, ensuring that they meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
∎ Contribute to the recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluation of the ticketing team.
∎ Stay updated on travel industry trends, airline promotions, and special offers that can be passed on to customers for additional sales opportunities.
∎ Work with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and special deals aimed at increasing ticket sales.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients to ensure repeat business.
∎ Proactively inform clients about new travel products, discounts, and promotions.
∎ Follow up with clients post-travel to gather feedback and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
