Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. The candidate must be from a UGC-approved university. No third division/class or equivalent CGPA is allowed.

• At least 1 years

• 1–2 years of experience in Information Security and Risk & Compliance.

• Preferred industry certifications: CSA, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, RHCE, CEH/CPEH, etc.

• Understanding of various security threats, malware, and attack vectors.

• Familiarity with security tools including SIEM solutions.

• Working knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows, and Linux platforms.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST is a plus.

The incumbent will serve as a Security Analyst within the Information Security Department, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events across the Bank’s IT environment. The role is part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and contributes to maintaining a secure and compliant IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events 24x7 using various security tools as part of the SOC team.

• Conduct initial analysis of security incidents and escalate as necessary.

• Participate in the cyber security incident response process and support the SOC function.

• Perform basic malware analysis and stay informed about the latest malware and threat life cycles.

• Support day-to-day operations and reporting activities of the Information Security Department.

• Identify vulnerabilities and system/network misconfigurations and suggest mitigation measures.

• Conduct ICT risk assessments and provide recommendations to reduce associated risks.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve security issues through to closure.

• Work in a shift/roster mode to ensure continuous (24x7) SOC service delivery.
