• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Master of Science (MSc)

• M.Sc. in OHS, Environmental Management/ Risk Management/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Petrochemical engineering (preferable)

• B.Sc. in Chemical / Mechanical/ Electrical / Petrochemical engineering or equivalent degree from any reputated university.

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) / Diploma, IOSH Chartered Membership (CMIOSH), OSHA Certifications , ISO Certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

• 10 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Chemical Industries, Cement Industry, Paper, LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas

• Age At least 35 years
• Only Male

• 10–15 years of progressive HSE experience, including leadership roles.

• Strong track record in implementing HSE management systems, audits, compliance, and incident prevention.

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of "Section Head (JCE)- HSE" at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.

The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:

• Work closely with higher management to cultivate company’s Safety Culture.

• Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work Environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA) and obtaining Environmental Clearance from the Department of Environment, Bangladesh for different Project.

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s HSE strategy, policies, and management systems in compliance with international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, etc.).

• Responsible to develop and track ESHIA Management Plan for Projects with the coordination of Project Team.

• Able to work with HES and Legal Team to develop the register for applicable government rules for Company operation and conducted internal audits in different facilities.

• Ensure Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management (CHESM) on site during construction. Provide Training, Implementing/ Coordinating the site related safety program and activities, Carry out Safety and Security audit internal-external and sub-contractor.

• Identification of Hazards, Risk Assessment, Proposal & implementation of required controls.

• Train employees on fire safety, environment, work place safety, chemical storing & handling, waste handling & disposal, machine safety, emergency response.

• Supports the Top Management in the HSE policy and guideline issues.

• Review the HSE management plan for particular project and all HSE related documentation, including root cause analysis (RCA), identify corrective actions/preventive actions (CAPA) and safety equipment requisition to ensure compliance with establish standards and update all firm/clients developed policies to support HSE programs.

• Assist in the preparation of new work proposals as solicitations relate to health, safety & environment objectives.

• Reviews all contract documents related to ongoing or proposed work for safety related issues.

• Serve as the primary contact on health and safety issues.

• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits to minimize workplace incidents and environmental impacts.

• Prepare & communicate report to the relevant department and stakeholders.
