Responsibilities & Context:
Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of "Chemist/ Assistant Chemist (Laboratory)" at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.
Perform routine and specialized tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to ASTM, ISO, AASHTO, GB and APHA method during process and regular product storage tank.
Conduct tests on petroleum products such as bitumen, furnace oil, diesel, naphtha and related materials to determine their physical and chemical properties.
Utilize analytical instruments and techniques such as distillation, flash point, Sulphur content, calorific value, viscosity, carbon residue, water content, ash content, softening point, penetration and ductility testing.
Analyze test results, detect deviation and report any non-conformance issues to Senior Chemist/ Shift-In Charge.
Conduct tests on boiler water, boiler-feed, cooling water, RO, Return condensate, ETP inlet and outlet water etc.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations to ensure product quality and safety manners.
Provide timely and accurate reports on quality metrics, trends, and findings to management.
