Dhaka Editorial is looking for a talented Bangla News Script Writer to join our editorial team. If you are passionate about politics, current affairs, and storytelling, and can turn complex information into engaging video scripts, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary Range

12,000-20,000 BDT per month

Key Responsibilities

• Write multiple high-quality Bangla news scripts every day for YouTube and digital platforms.

• Cover Bangladesh politics, international politics, geopolitics, diplomacy, economy, and major current affairs.

• Produce evergreen explainer videos on history, geography, science, economics, international relations, and general knowledge topics.

• Conduct thorough research using credible sources and fact-check all information before writing.

• Write engaging, retention-focused scripts with strong hooks, smooth storytelling, and impactful conclusions.

• Work closely with presenters, editors, and the editorial team to ensure high production quality.

• Adapt quickly to breaking news and deliver scripts within tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Excellent written Bangla with strong grammar and storytelling skills.

• Good command of English for research from international sources.

• Strong knowledge of Bangladeshi politics, world politics, international affairs, and current events.

• Ability to research independently and verify information from multiple credible sources.

• Experience in writing news packages, YouTube scripts, TV news, or digital journalism is preferred.

• Understanding of audience retention and YouTube-style scripting is a plus.

• Ability to handle multiple scripts per day while maintaining quality and accuracy. Digital newsrooms increasingly expect writers to produce several stories or scripts daily while maintaining speed, accuracy, and editorial standards. (Built In)
