SD Cargo Services SDN BHD, a leading logistics provider based in Malaysia, is expanding its operations with a new branch in Bangladesh. We are looking for high-energy Sales & Marketing professionals who specialize in the Malaysia-Bangladesh trade route. Unlike traditional logistics roles, this position requires a deep understanding of both Product Sourcing and Freight Forwarding. You will be responsible for identifying vendors and importers who want to buy from Malaysia and provide them with a seamless end-to-end supply chain solution.
Job Responsibilities:
Actively search for and onboard Bangladesh-based vendors, wholesalers, and corporate clients interested in sourcing products from Malaysia.
Pitch our integrated "Sourcing + Shipping" model to potential clients, highlighting the cost-benefits of our direct Malaysian network.
Negotiate service contracts, pricing, and shipping terms to secure long-term business partnerships.
Maintain a database of active importers and provide regular follow-ups to ensure customer retention.
Coordinate with the Malaysia HQ team to facilitate product inquiries and shipping schedules for local clients.
Conduct market research to identify trending products in Malaysia that have high demand in the Bangladesh market.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for the Country Manager and the Malaysian board.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
3+ years of experience in the Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Import-Export industry.
Candidates with a proven track record in B2B sales or "Vendor Hunting" will be given high priority.
Additional Requirements:
Sound knowledge of the Malaysia-Bangladesh import-export landscape.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet monthly sales targets.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) for client presentations and reporting.
High performance-based sales commission (Uncapped).
