∎ For Wendler Bangladesh (Dhaka), we are looking for a Sales Manager Bangladesh.
∎ Your place of work is at our sales office in DOHS Baridhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. You are the brand ambassador who represents our brand in a positive light, helping to increase brand awareness and sales. The job holder reports to the MD of Wendler Bangladesh with dot line to our Sales Director Asia.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the Marketing Team of Wendler in Bangladesh.
∎ Ensure continuous growth of sales and achieve defined profit margin.
∎ Maintain and ensure customer satisfaction.
∎ Reliable partner for Garment manufacturers, decision makers.
∎ Working on a successful, future sales organization for Bangladesh.
∎ Enhance our product portfolio to meet customer requirements and to catch market potential.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Further developing sales force including regular training and improvement of the team (technical skills, communication skills, market development skills).
∎ Regular customer visits (factories & buying offices) to generate sales of Wendler products, to improve after sales service and to develop long term relationships including regular follow ups.
∎ Plan, direct and coordinate sales activities to implement the growth strategy. Ensure that sales targets will be achieved.
∎ Monitor and analyze markets, competitors and trends continuously.
∎ Timely customer responses (proactive and reactive) & follow ups regarding test requests, any urgent matters and business transactions (PI, LC, order shipments, etc.).
∎ Weekly, Monthly & Yearly Target planning (How to increase & develop market) & Reporting.
∎ Business planning - decision making for Sales team and reporting to management.
∎ Getting to know the decision makers in important brands to specify Wendler products.
∎ Care for key customers and important decision makers.
∎ Cooperation and alignment with global Wendler sales teams.
∎ Develop deep technical understanding of interlinings and their processing.
∎ Advance and further develop product portfolio in coordination with the relevant positions inside the company group.
∎ Market management: Identify sales potential, plan target customers and customer visits to pull orders.
∎ Travelling required 4-5 days per week. Mainly greater Dhaka area incl. factories in the North. In addition, regular travelling to Chittagong on monthly base.
∎ Proven work-experience with sales and apparel background; ideally men's wear.
∎ Solid technical background in textile and/or garment industry with understanding and/or hands-on experience in interlining applications and its' technical customer processing.
∎ Strong sales and communication skills.
∎ Hands-on-mentality.
∎ Self-driven personality; Flexible and able to work on own initiative.
∎ Articulative, innovative and confident figure.
∎ Willingness to travel in Bangladesh but also abroad.
∎ Working internationally in cross-functional teams on customers' projects.
∎ Team player who enjoys when other people have success.
∎ The job holder is required to be computer literate with competence in all Microsoft applications, as well as in the use of ERP systems.
∎ English as language should be fluent in speaking and writing, ideally on negotiation level.
Salary:
∎ The job holder will get a monthly fix salary as a basic. In addition, the package includes a bonus which is based on sales figures and reaching agreed sales targets. Company equipment such as mobile device and notebook are also included.
