Aurora Specialized Hospital, a trusted name in healthcare located in Kakrail, Dhaka, is inviting applications from highly qualified, experienced, and proactive medical professionals for the position of Resident Medical Officer (RMO).
This is an excellent leadership opportunity for a dedicated medical professional to oversee clinical operations, manage staff, and ensure quality patient care across all departments.
Position Summary:
The RMO will be responsible for clinical leadership, administrative coordination, and staff supervision, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities:
Implement administrative orders from Aurora Specialized Hospital (ASH) high officials.
Responsible for clinical management of all patients, in coordination with Medical Officers & Chief Nursing Officer.
Oversee recruitment, staff management, record keeping, leave accounting, issuing contracts, releases/terminations, and performance evaluation for clinical staff.
Develop and implement effective policies for all clinical operational procedures.
Prepare work schedules for Medical Officers.
Arrange, create modules, and conduct training & professional development programs for clinical staff.
Stay updated with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Review, update, and maintain staff file documents efficiently, confidentially, and in an orderly manner.
Ensure optimal staffing by recruiting the right person for the right role.
Resolve disputes arising in the hospital promptly.
Report to senior management and act as a liaison between administrative and medical staff.
Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and related transactions according to hospital policies.
Be available over the phone as per roster and attend emergency calls, including nights if necessary.
Respond to patients’ medical problems through history-taking, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral.
Participate in medical camps, training, seminars, symposiums, and meetings.
Ensure infrastructure development of Emergency, OT, ICU, PICU, NICU, ERCP, CT, MRI, and other clinical areas during hospital projects.
