Aurora Specialized Hospital, located in the heart of Dhaka, is seeking an experienced, qualified, and dedicated nursing professional to join our team as Deputy Nursing Superintendent. The selected candidate will assist in overseeing nursing services, ensuring quality patient care, effective staff management, proper duty roster preparation, and smooth ward operations.
Location: 19/1 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000.
Type: Full Time (Roster).
Job Description:
Assist the Nursing Superintendent in managing and supervising the overall nursing services of the hospital.
Supervise nursing staff and ensure effective deployment according to patient care requirements.
Prepare, review, and monitor nursing duty rosters and ensure proper staffing in all wards and departments.
Monitor day-to-day ward management and ensure smooth nursing operations.
Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.
Monitor compliance with nursing policies, procedures, clinical protocols, and hospital standards.
Coordinate with doctors, medical officers, Nursing Superintendent, and other department heads to ensure smooth patient care.
Monitor nursing documentation, medication administration, patient records, and other clinical activities.
Identify performance gaps and provide necessary guidance and support to nursing staff.
Assist in arranging training, orientation, and development programs for nursing personnel.
Monitor infection prevention and control practices and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Address nursing-related operational issues and patient concerns in coordination with the appropriate authority.
Monitor nursing equipment, supplies, and ward requirements.
Prepare and submit nursing service reports to the Nursing Superintendent and senior management.
Assist in maintaining discipline, professionalism, and a patient-friendly environment within the nursing team.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
