Aurora Specialized Hospital, located in the heart of Dhaka, is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated nursing professional to join our team as a Senior Staff Nurse (ICU/CCU/NICU). The selected candidate will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring high-quality nursing services in a professional healthcare environment.
Employment Type: Full-Time (Roster)
Location: Aurora Specialized Hospital, 19/1 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000.
Job Responsibilities
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, CCU, and NICU.
Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical conditions, and responses to treatment.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and other relevant equipment.
Assist physicians during emergency procedures, resuscitation, and other critical interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, patient records, medication charts, and nursing notes.
Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients between shifts.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a safe clinical environment.
Assist in the management of emergency and critically ill patients according to hospital protocols.
Monitor and maintain the proper use and availability of nursing equipment and essential supplies.
Communicate effectively with doctors, nursing supervisors, patients' attendants, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide appropriate information and support to patients' attendants while maintaining confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, patient safety standards, and professional ethics.
Participate in training, clinical learning, and quality improvement activities.
Perform any other nursing-related duties assigned by the management.
