Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing
• Master of Science (MSc) in Nursing

• Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• BSc/MSc in Nursing will be given preference.

• MPH will be an added advantage/preference.

• Age 35 to 50 years

• Minimum 10 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in a reputed hospital.

• Previous experience in Nursing Administration/Supervisory Management will be highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Nursing Administration, Infection Control, Patient Safety, Quality Assurance, and Clinical Documentation.

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office and HIS.

• Strong knowledge of Nursing Administration, Infection Control, Team Management, and Nursing Leadership.

• Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Strong knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, documentation, and quality standards.

Aurora Specialized Hospital, located in the heart of Dhaka, is seeking an experienced, qualified, and dynamic nursing professional to join our team as Nursing Superintendent. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing services, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining nursing standards, and providing effective leadership and coordination across the hospital's nursing departments.

Location: 19/1 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000.

Type: Full Time (Roster).

Job Description:

• Oversee and coordinate the overall nursing services of the hospital.

• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.

• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, protocols, and standards.

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff and ensure proper manpower utilization.

• Prepare and monitor nursing duty rosters, staffing requirements, and shift arrangements.

• Ensure proper compliance with nursing standards, infection prevention and control procedures, and patient safety protocols.

• Coordinate with doctors, medical officers, department heads, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care.

• Monitor nursing documentation, patient records, medication administration, and clinical practices.

• Identify training and development needs of nursing staff and arrange appropriate training programs.

• Conduct regular nursing rounds and monitor the quality of nursing services.

• Handle nursing-related patient complaints and take appropriate corrective measures.

• Monitor nursing equipment, supplies, and inventory requirements in coordination with relevant departments.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly nursing service reports to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional nursing standards.

• Lead and motivate nursing teams to maintain a professional, disciplined, and patient-friendly environment.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
