• Experience: Registered Nurse with at least minimum 5 years' experience in CCU.

• Skills in organizing, directing and supervising of nursing personnel on respective work area.

Technical Competencies.

• Basic Computer Skill. Guiding, teaching and inspiring the nurses on respective work area. Good technical Knowledge and skills on Specialty/area wise medical equipment and machines.

• Behavioral Competencies: Discipline, Commitment, Team Player, Dynamic.

• Council Registration Requirements: Valid Registration and License from BNC.

Required Skills

• Critical thinking and clinical decision-making.

• Cardiac monitoring and ECG interpretation.

• Advanced life support skills (BLS/ACLS).

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Job Context

• A CCU Nurse provides specialized care to critically ill patients, particularly those with cardiac and life-threatening conditions.

• We are looking for a nurse to be responsible and accountable for the smooth patient services in timelines.

• The successful candidate needs to improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of nursing profession.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Monitoring

• Continuously monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status.

• Assess patients for changes in condition and respond promptly.

• Interpret ECG/EKG readings and identify arrhythmias.

Direct Patient Care

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.

• Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.

• Perform nursing procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and suctioning.

Emergency Response

• Respond to cardiac arrests and medical emergencies.

• Perform CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) interventions.

• Assist physicians during emergency procedures.

Care Planning and Documentation

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team

• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient care discussions.

• Communicate patient status and treatment plans effectively.

Patient and Family Education

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

• Provide emotional support during critical illness and recovery.

Infection Control and Safety

• Follow infection prevention protocols and hospital policies.

• Ensure patient safety through risk assessments and monitoring.

• Maintain a clean and safe care environment.
