Responsibilities & Context
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and CCU.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, ECG, oxygen saturation and other critical parameters.
Provide nursing care to patients on mechanical ventilation and other life-support systems.
Administer medications, IV fluids and emergency drugs as prescribed by physicians.
Assist physicians during emergency procedures, intubation, CPR and other critical interventions.
Ensure proper monitoring and documentation of patients' clinical conditions.
Supervise and guide staff nurses to ensure quality nursing care.
Ensure proper shift handover and takeover.
Maintain infection prevention, patient safety and hospital nursing protocols.
Ensure proper utilization of ICU/CCU equipment and emergency medical supplies.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for effective patient management.
