Minimum 8-10 years of total professional nursing experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nursing Supervisor in any reputed hospital is mandatory.
Skills:

Skilled in Nursing Supervision, Duty Roster Preparation, Ward Management, and Team Coordination.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Good knowledge of patient care standards, nursing documentation, infection control, and hospital policies.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 8-10 years of total professional nursing experience is mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nursing Supervisor in any reputed hospital is mandatory.
Previous experience in a reputed hospital will be highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Nursing Supervision, Ward Management, Duty Roster Preparation, Patient Care, and Nursing Administration.
Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information System (HIS).
Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Professional attitude, integrity, accountability, and commitment to quality patient care.
Willingness to work on a roster basis, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Aurora Specialized Hospital, located in the heart of Dhaka, is seeking an experienced, responsible, and dedicated nursing professional to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, managing ward operations, monitoring duty rosters, and maintaining professional nursing standards across the hospital.
Location: 19/1 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000.
Type: Full Time (Roster).
Facilities: As Per Company Rules.
Job Description:
Supervise and monitor the day-to-day activities of nursing staff in assigned wards/departments.
Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Prepare, review, and monitor nursing duty rosters to ensure adequate staffing in all shifts.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance of nursing staff.
Ensure proper allocation and utilization of nursing manpower according to patient care requirements.
Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor the quality of nursing services.
Ensure proper nursing documentation, medication administration, patient monitoring, and handover procedures.
Coordinate with doctors, medical officers, Nursing Superintendent, and other departments for smooth patient care.
Monitor compliance with infection prevention and control procedures and patient safety protocols.
Identify nursing-related problems and take appropriate corrective action in coordination with the concerned authority.
Provide guidance, supervision, and support to nursing staff in handling clinical and operational issues.
Assist in orientation, training, and performance development programs for nursing personnel.
Monitor the availability and proper use of nursing equipment, supplies, and other ward requirements.
Handle patient and attendant concerns related to nursing services professionally and report serious issues to the appropriate authority.
Prepare and submit regular reports regarding nursing activities, staffing, attendance, and ward operations.
Maintain discipline, professionalism, teamwork, and a patient-friendly environment among nursing staff.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
