∎ We are seeking qualified candidates in Bangladesh for the position of Research Utilization Advisor for the anticipated Gavi Country Learning Hub Partners for Immunization Equity in Bangladesh.
∎ The Country Learning Hub activity aims to provide systematic and robust monitoring and learning for interventions by working in conjunction with the government, local academic institutions, and civil society organizations in order to maximize data use and learning. The specific objectives of the learning hub is to: 1) generate and synthesize learning on the barriers to children being reached to influence programme planning and tailored approaches to identify and reach zero-dose children and missed communities; 2) strengthen the evidence base of effective approaches to identify and reach zero-dose children and missed communities by understanding what works, should be scaled up, and what does not work and to do so in a timely, iterative manner; and 3) improve metrics, measures, and methods to access and use data on a regular basis to improve reaching zero-dose children and missed communities.
∎ Availability of the position is contingent upon successful award of the project to FHI Solutions.
∎ Overview:
∎ The Research Utilization Advisor will lead the translation of evidence generated by the project into products for dissemination with the goal for uptake and practice by stakeholders. S/he will develop learning products such as evidence briefs, infographics and webinars that present data in compelling, succinct, informative and visually interesting ways. The Research Utilization Advisor will develop plans that support evidence uptake and practice, including identifying end users and champions, and fora and key events for dissemination.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop research utilization plans that define dissemination strategy with emphasis on uptake of research findings and evidence, monitor their progress and work with team members to ensure completion
∎ Synthesize and package learnings in a tailored way to appeal to specific target audiences
∎ Support champions and decision makers to use evidence to inform policies, implementation and scale up of interventions and approaches
∎ Develop knowledge products such as infographics, briefs, job aids, presentations other materials
∎ Support planning of dissemination events such as stakeholder meetings and advocacy campaigns
∎ Lead knowledge translation activities and establish feedback loops with country stakeholders for knowledge transfer
∎ Participate in peer-to-peer learning activities such as communities of practice
∎ Present research findings and evidence at dissemination events and other meetings such as technical working group meetings
∎ Facilitate sharing of research findings and evidence with global learning partner for cross-learning among learning hubs
∎ Support partner engagement activities

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum ten years of experience in communicating results from research and/or project activities
∎ Experience translating large amounts of information into compelling and concise knowledge products
∎ Experience communicating research findings to diverse stakeholders
∎ Experience working with immunization data and/or immunization programming a plus
∎ Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical, organization and interpersonal skills
