Job Context:
∎ The Leprosy Mission International-Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is a member of The Leprosy Mission (TLM) which is an International Christian faith based organization, committed to change the lives of persons affected by leprosy. TLMI-B is working in Bangladesh since 1991 as partner of Government of Bangladesh to eliminate the cause and consequences of leprosy to achieve its vision `leprosy defeated, lives transformed`. Also, it works for the social rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy, disability and social exclusion. Currently, TLMI-B invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for its program `Activating and Engaging Partnerships to reduce leprosy in Bangladesh (AEP)` for the following position:
∎ Based: Dhaka (frequent travel to the other districts).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare standard research protocol in line with organizational mandate and needs of people affected by leprosy and other NTD
∎ Conduct research and support other team in conducting; ethical approval, design of data collection tools, data collection, analysis.
∎ Prepare research report and Manuscript for publication
∎ Provide technical support to other projects on research related issues; capacity building, writing protocol Etc.
∎ Communicate with relevant partners; NGOs, University Etc. for join research
∎ Support for preparing research proposal for funding
∎ Collect case study , quality photos and other related information
∎ Assist team for organizing research result dissemination conference, orientation and training
∎ Gather and share update information on research , leprosy , other NTD as well as other relevant information
∎ Assist team for submitting abstract for national and international conference
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years of experience in working with NGO/INGOs relevant with Research activities.Excellent in English and Bengali;
∎ Proficient in MS Office packages and data analysis package.
∎ Demonstrated ability in the use of quantitative and qualitative methods including questionnaire design, survey techniques, and participatory approaches.
∎ Proven strong report writing skills, ability to present monitoring data and survey finding clearly.
∎ Ability to think clearly and analytically.

Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated Salary BDT 35000-40000.00 (Higher range will determine on the basis of experience and/or qualifications) plus other benefits as per organizational policy.
