∎ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry from any reputed Public University.
∎ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry from any reputed Public University.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-5 year of experience in a related position in a chemical or environmental laboratory;
∎ Proficient in evaluating the parameters of soil and water quality, especially nutrients and contaminants, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP); Effective in determining the parameters of water and soil quality, including nutrients and contaminants, using the US EPA/APHA or any other scientific methods/techniques;
∎ Practical expertise using cutting-edge analytical tools and methods related to the testing and analysis of soil and water quality;
∎ Preference will be given to those who have better understanding of water and soil quality standards and knowledge on different national and international rules and regulations related to laboratory test;
∎ Certifications in environmental testing or laboratory techniques will be an advantage;
∎ The candidate must be able to carry out multi-tasking activities and extensive fieldwork and readiness to work under pressure;
∎ Analytical knowledge to generate different type of laboratory test reports (both environmental and chemical parameters);
∎ Excellent communication and report-writing skills;
∎ Proficiency in laboratory activities, procedure, tools and computer software for data analysis and reporting;
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

∎ Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) is seeking for a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of Research Consultant (Junior Chemist) to join our Environmental Laboratory team.
∎
∎ The Junior Chemist will play a vital role in conducting environmental testing, laboratory management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
