• Bachelor/Honors

• Research Associate – Sociology: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Sociology/ Anthropology/ Development Studies/ Population Science/ Social Welfare or Social Work/ Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies/ Political Science/ Public Administration/ Statistics/ Peace & Conflict Studies/ Governance & Public Policy or subjects relevant to the social science discipline from any reputed university.

• Research Associate – Economics: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Economics/Environmental Economics/ Development Economics or subjects relevant to the social science discipline from any reputed university.

• Research Associate - Gender Development: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Women & Gender Studies/ Anthropology/Sociology/Development Studies or subjects relevant to the social science discipline from any reputed university.

• At most 1 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Research Organization

Additional Qualification:

• The candidate must be able to carry out multi-tasking activities and extensive fieldwork and readiness to work under pressure.

Added Advantage will be given to those who have the following:

• Possess sound understanding and knowledge as well as experience in the studies and/or action researches on social & livelihood; economic; and gender & development etc;

• Profound knowledge and relevant experience in social & livelihood, economic, and gender & development survey methods, tools and techniques (such as FGD, RRA, KII, PRA, PCM etc.);

• Possess the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data using standard software, such as, SPSS, STATA, NVivo, MPI, SQL, Access etc.;

• Skill in both technical report writing and abilities to exchange information through written, oral, non-verbal & visual and contextual communication techniques;

• Experience in EIA/SIA/RAP/LAP and Feasibility Study for multi-sectoral development projects;

• Professionals working in CEGIS with multidisciplinary teams under different projects will get preferences.

Other Conditions:

• Age must not exceed 32 years as of the last date of application submission (Age limit will be relaxed for the candidate working in CEGIS);

• Candidates selected must have a commitment to serve CEGIS for a longer duration (at least 3 years);

• Must have a ‘can-do’ attitude;

• The incumbent must have a mindset to work in a team;

• Must be able to carry out multi-tasking activities, extensive field work and have a mindset to work under pressure.
