Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities;
∎ Conduct FGDs, observational and thought (choice) experiments, in-depth interviews, surveys and participatory evaluation;
∎ Process and analyze data from FGDs, in-depth interviews, surveys and experiments;
∎ Prepare reports and publications on findings of the processes and practices (technical, options, scaling interventions, policy settings and implementation) that can be applied to achieve sustainable, efficient, div versified food systems at scale in the EGP;
∎ Implement a series of combined action learning & action research investigations into improved extension, PPP agro-input provision and service delivery applying project intervention;
∎ Design communication materials such as newsletters and brochures on study findings, various successful pilot extension modalities, service provision and agro-input provision;
∎ Build partnerships and networks with relevant government agencies, private companies/businesses and other stakeholders;
∎ Organize and coordinate various trainings, workshops, seminars for increasing influence on and access to right of poor people for sustainable livelihood;
∎ Any other tasks requested by the supervisor that are relevant to the job family and related to RDRS Bangladesh objectives.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years experience in Agricultural Research Activities;
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS word, Excel, SPSS and Power Point);
∎ Good interpersonal communication skills and command over English and Bangla-both spoken and written.

RDRS was formally established as the Bangladesh field program of the Geneva-based Lutheran World Federation/Department for World Service (LWF/DWS) on 8 February 1972. With this aim, RDRS enables those who participate in its program to gain the necessary skills, understanding, confidence, institutions and services; and ensure that the rural communities have the necessary economic, social and environmental resources. RDRS employees approximate 3,700 staff and works with a further approximately 1,000 volunteers and daily paid workers. The vast majority of staff are in field positions, with specialist sectoral and support units in Rangpur and Dhaka.
