Job Context:
∎ Register will be the first contact for every client come to the health facility. Documentation of general information from the patient will be his/her major responsibility. Beside this, he will also help in patient triaging in the waiting zone and segregate the patient based on the severity and guide them for consultation.
∎ Registrar will be working as the front desk at the IRC Health facilities to receive patients and ensure general information of the patients are recorded. The Registrar will also assist in patients triaging including manage patient in waiting zone, manage patients queue based on conditions of the patients and direct patient to the consultations.
∎ Job Location: Camp 06/11, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Contract length: Till 31st August 2022 (with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accurately process front desk registration by obtaining general information and perform proper documentation.
∎ Manage the day to day patient flow and assist MA/Paramedics in patient triaging.
∎ Work closely with referral assistant and health Facility Supervisor for the patient referral services.
∎ Counsel the patient in the waiting zone as part of the awareness building activities.
∎ Other Duties:
∎ Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Supervisor/IRC management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/improve the security environment.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year similar experience in health or other facility either with an NGO or government body.
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives.
∎ Previous experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting
∎ Skilled in electronic device operation (Tablet, smart phone) will be preferable
∎ Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy.
∎ Ability to be innovative, flexible, and adaptive.
∎ Ability to live in challenging conditions and ability to work under difficult, high pressure situations.

Salary: Tk. 26800 (Monthly)
