Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Post Graduate in Management /MSc/Vet/Dairy Science and others relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare regional budget, yearly raw milk procurement plan and meet target of quality milk collection with necessary test
∎ Maintain all books and records for smooth functioning of chilling centers
∎ Organise the materials of milk production, collect good quality milk and distribute timely
∎ Maintain the survey of the area for finding the new areas, competitors etc.
∎ Arrange the farmers meeting, training in the field; identify the problem and solve it immediately
∎ Keep update on the policy of others organisation and implement it at business after consulting with authority
∎ Communicate with various govt. and private organisations especially with the dairy related competitors/ stakeholders
∎ Follow-up all financial activities and ensure smooth operation of chilling center activities
∎ Co-ordinate with related sections of veterinary service, health coverage, nutritional activities and modern dairy management
∎ Plan and ensure breed development program for dairy development at the marginal farmers level
∎ Ensure fair price payment of the producers
∎ Evaluate reports for undertaking the further activities for dairy sector development
∎ Manage all the data base of the region like dairy farmers, society managers, any qualified/authorized milk suppliers, milk production, cattle Population, competitors activities etc.
∎ Act as a mentor to identify the development area of the team; make succession plan through coaching, training and develop leadership quality
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to be an effective and credible voice internally and externally when presenting findings.
∎ Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds
∎ Working knowledge on dairy farm management; business operation
∎ Strong knowledge on milk quality and procurement system experience on service Dairy related field
∎ Hands-on knowledge on chilling centers operation
∎ Must have knowledge on inventory and supply chain management
∎ Dealing with complex environment and ability to solve them
∎ Demonstrating/safeguarding ethics and integrity
∎ Ability to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently
∎ Must have skill of multitasking
∎ Must have to work under pressure
