Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates
Knowledge on Silk production process, Silk Twisting, Dyeing, Weaving, Fabrics quality, quality control process
Required skills: Silk Twisting and Silk weaving process, machineries
Required competencies: Hand loom & Power loom operation and quality control
Excellent in worker management, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure proper repair and maintain of loom and charka
Confirm the training of worker and increase their skill
Ensure the sourcing of raw materials
Ensure the quality of raw materials such as silk yarn, Endi lachi, cotton/viscos yarn
Monitor the quality at the time of fabric production
Ensure billing in due time
Minimize the quality rejection maintaining proper production procedure
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
