Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Regional Manager will be responsible for the coordination, implementation and management of the ongoing program/projects activities in Cox's Bazaar region. The major responsibilities will be as follows:
∎ GENERAL:
∎ Actively participate in operational planning with the Executive Director/ Coordinators/ Project Managers as & when required and ensure the operation plan starting of projects year implementing in the region.
∎ Implement planned activities in accordance to achieve the project objectives in cost effective manner.
∎ Overseeing the daily operations of the project and overall supervise of regional staff.
∎ Arrange and organize workshop/training as need for program implementation and staff development.
∎ Maintain liaison and networking with the local GoB, NGOs and others agencies in the order to represent Anando effectively.
∎ PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & COORDINATION:
∎ Playing a leading role in developing detailed project wise implementation plan in close collaboration with Project Manager, Project Managers, Regional Officers, Program Officers, Accountant and other related staff.
∎ Ensure effective and optimum utilization of credit fund and its recovery.
∎ Ensure that program are implementing as per plan and objectives.
∎ Provide program support including but not limited to: managing resources, overseeing budgets and expenditures, managing staff time and organizing periodical report.
∎ Provide adequate direction and support to ensure that resources are managed according to Anando standard and compliance with donor and Anandos regulation.
∎ HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT:
∎ Building and nurture effective teamwork in the Region that is conductive to staff retention.
∎ Assist administration in staff recruitment process for the region/field staff.
∎ Supervise effective functioning of staff based in the Cox's Bazer regional office as well as the units.
∎ Identify and effectively resolves staff issues to ensure there is less negative impact on program/beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure supervision and conduct annual staff performance appraisal for all staff of the region.
∎ Assess needs and provide staff with skill development opportunities for ensuring maximum contribution toward achieving program & organization goals.
∎ Provide on the job training, coaching, counseling and mentoring to the staff as appropriate.
∎ REPRESENTATION, COMMUNICATION & REPORTING:
∎ Initiate and sign all the written communication from Cox's Bazer region Central office, counter part, Govt. Office, NGOs and others agencies.
∎ Conduct monthly impact Area meetings at which program progress is assessed by regional team with participation from technical staff of the project/program.
∎ Develop monthly reports and other reports as needed and ensure accuracy of these reports.
∎ Maintain liaison with Central office, GOB/ NGOs officials, local elite and other key formal and informal leaders in the Cox's Bazer region.
∎ ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE:
∎ Proper and effective utilization of organizations resources at regional level.
∎ Monitor expenditure (monthly, quarterly) and taken action where variances are high.
∎ Ensure transparent finance management at the regional office as well as unit office.
∎ Ensure timely fund request and financial reporting.
∎ Arrange procurement of regular items and other day to day usable materials for Cox's Bazer region and to procure bulk items with the coordination of central office administration.
∎ DIRECT SUPERVISION:
∎ Regional Accountant, Program Officers (those are Regional office based), Project Managers, Unit Managers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 07 years working experience on multi Projects management, Micro Credit Program, Emergency Response Program and among them at least 3 years experience in similar position. Must have good command in english, computer skills and program monitoring at field level.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Tk. 40,000/- (Negotiable for Competed & Extra Ordinary Candidate.)
