• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Age 18 to 40 years

● Working knowledge of common knit structures (single jersey, rib, interlock, pique) and how defects present in each.

●Understanding of GSM, width, and construction specifications and how to verify them on the floor.

● Strong attention to detail and consistency in applying grading standards.

● Accurate, disciplined record-keeping and basic reporting.

●Clear communication with Shift Engineers and Head Technologist, including the confidence to hold production when standards are not met.

● Conduct in-process fabric inspection on assigned knitting machines against the approved specification (construction, GSM, width).

● Identify and record common fabric defects - holes, drop stitches, oil stains, barre marks, needle lines, slubs - using the standard defect-recording system.

● Perform roll-level inspection and grading (A / B / Reject) in line with the company's 4-point (or equivalent) grading system.

●  Hold or flag out-of-spec production immediately and escalate to the Shift Engineer and Head Technologist for corrective action.

● Maintain accurate, complete quality inspection records and logs per machine, batch, and roll.

● Verify that operators are following standard quality checkpoints and machine settings during the shift.

● Support root-cause investigation for customer complaints or rejections traced back to the knitting stage.

● Report recurring or trend-level quality issues to the Head Technologist for process-level correction.

● Ensure quality-related SOPs and standards are consistently applied on the floor.
