Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's & Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Familiar with cosmetic and cleaning product forms and other on-trend products from formulation to production.
∎ Assure that bulk batches, finished products, and raw materials meet the established sample specifications and quality standards and that sample documents are saved properly.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory and lab equipment
∎ Performs routine instrument maintenance and calibration as needed in the course of analytical work . Conducts limited instrument troubleshooting and problem diagnosis.
∎ Makes judgment based on knowledge and experience as to the accuracy and reliability of analytical results Observes and identifies problems with results and reports to supervisor.
∎ Must be detail oriented and be able to manage several projects at once. Able to document, record and organize all lab procedures.

∎ 3+ year's chemistry experience preferably in cosmetic/chemical/consumer products/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
