∎ 6 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, implement and maintain inspection and testing criteria to ensure all products meet OI quality standards for functionality, performance, durability and safety. Additionally, monitor and imply fast speed for samples assessment (TAC)
∎ Lead, guide and train the team of technicians, also monitor and organise the workload of technicians
∎ Work closely with merchandiser, customer product developer (creative teams) & technician designer to secure design and develop prototypes and patterns by using 2D and 3D technology
∎ Recommend solutions to significant issues related to product quality & QA programs and communicate them with the associate teams
∎ Perceive customer with making processes & quality requirements and inform team members about updates of customer quality guidelines. Based on the data, determine the need for factory visits and arrange professional follow up within the team also keeping the team updated about the actual situation
∎ Handle customer issues and serve as a consultant both externally and internally. Furthermore advise customers on trends, technical possibilities and challenges
Additional Requirements:
∎ 6 to 10 years' of experience as Quality Assurance Technician in garment construction or pattern making. Additionally 3 years' minimum experience in team management
∎ Degree or Diploma in Textile background.
∎ Adequate understanding of fabric and different product materials. Product design and development, knowing and understanding trends in fashion and excellent technical knowledge in various product groups will add further value
∎ Experienced and/or fully trained in 3D technology creating styles and conducting fit evaluations. Excellent knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD, PDM knowledge is a plus.
∎ Self-directed, organized, results-oriented, exceptional leadership skill
∎ Good command of spoken and written English
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
