∎ Graduate or Diploma in Engineering from any recognized institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that the paint products meet the required quality standards and specifications. This includes conducting quality control tests and inspections on raw materials, paint formulations, and finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
∎ Stay up-to-date with regulations and standards related to paints, such as safety, environmental, and health regulations. Ensure that the manufacturing and application of paints comply with these regulations.
∎ Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for the manufacturing and application of paints. This may involve creating and maintaining quality control documentation and training staff on these processes.
∎ Conduct regular inspections and tests on painted surfaces to identify defects, imperfections, or deviations from quality standards. Develop and maintain testing protocols and checklists.
∎ Investigate and address quality-related issues, such as paint defects, customer complaints, or safety concerns. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and prevent their recurrence.
∎ Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials used in paint production. Evaluate and audit suppliers for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
∎ Collect and analyze data related to quality and performance, and use this data to make informed decisions about product improvements and process enhancements.
∎ Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspection results, and other quality-related documentation to track and report on the performance of paint products and processes.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvement and product development to enhance the overall quality of paint products. Implement and monitor improvement initiatives.
∎ If overseeing a team, provide leadership and guidance to quality control personnel and ensure they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
