Experience:
Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or related majors.
5-10 years or more of relevant work experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with priority given to those who have quantity surveying experience.
Have been responsible for the QS department, or have previously served as a QS Manager or Contract Manager.
Proficient in the quantity surveying process and engineering quantity calculation rules, able to independently complete the preparation, review and on-site quantity survey of engineering quantity lists.
Familiar with relevant industry standards, quantity surveying standards and local engineering contract terms of road and bridge engineering; able to accurately interpret English engineering drawings and specifications, and properly handle various problems in the quantity surveying process.
Possess solid professional knowledge, able to independently complete the quantity survey review of project advance payment, progress payment, final settlement, as well as on-site visa and change quantity survey, ensuring compliance with local engineering requirements.
Able to accurately prepare and review quantity survey documents related to engineering quantity lists, bid control prices and bid quotations, ensuring accurate and compliant data that conforms to local Bangladeshi engineering pricing habits.
Possess good English reading, writing and communication skills, able to read English engineering drawings and contract documents, and conduct basic English communication.
Possess clear logical thinking and expression skills, able to accurately feedback the progress of quantity survey work, existing problems and solutions, and proficiently write quantity survey reports in English.
Serious and rigorous in work, careful and responsible, with strong sense of responsibility and execution; able to strictly control the accuracy of quantity survey data, eliminate errors, and meet the requirements of local engineering quantity survey standards.
Possess strong problem-solving abilities, familiar with common problems and handling methods of engineering quantity survey; able to quickly analyze and put forward reasonable solutions in the face of disputes and abnormal situations in the quantity surveying process.
Possess team spirit, able to actively cooperate with the overall work arrangement of the project, take the initiative to dock with relevant positions, adapt to the work rhythm of the local project site, and cooperate with the project progress to promote the quantity survey work.
