Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree preferably in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychology, social sciences, development and humanitarian studies, social work other relevant subject area or a combination of significant management and provision of Gender, GBV and Protection in humanitarian and development contexts.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Project name: Combating Intimate Partner Violence in Bangladesh in the Context of COVID-19 Project, based at Gazipur
∎ This Contract will be up to March 31, 2022
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Counselling:
∎ Actively promotes the availability of counselling services.
∎ Conducts individual and group counselling for Women, GBV survivors, couples and their family members
∎ Work with the team for assessing need of PSS service in the community
∎ Conducting Group Awareness Session.
∎ Conducting Psychological First Aid session
∎ Contributes to the quality, timely and effective implementation of PSS services in projects on Gender, GBV and protection;
∎ Contributes to ensuring that projects are of quality and at par with IASC, CARE policy and other international humanitarian standards;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience in providing PSS services of emergency projects, especially in Gender, GBV and Protection prevention programming;
∎ Practical field experience in GBV in emergencies, women and girl's protection, psychosocial programming in emergency or development contexts
∎ Strong knowledge of Gender, GBV & Basic counselling skills.
