Job Context:
∎ Work Location: IRC-Bangladesh, Ukhia Office ( with frequent travel to Different field offices & Camps)
∎ Reporting To: Protection Rule of Law Coordinator
∎ Department: Protection Rule of Law
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: Up to January 31, 2020 (with possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Management and Development:

∎ Be responsible for the information management activities of for PRoL programming, namely protection monitoring and case management including referrals, and PSWN CM, including data analysis, reporting, and beneficiary/indicator tracking;
∎ Develop a case management database using an online platform with input and support from the PRoL team, and liaise with VPRU IM Specialist;
∎ Analyze the quantitative and qualitative data collected by the protection monitoring teams;
∎ Supervise the tracking of disaggregated information on beneficiary numbers and indicators over time from data received from programs;
∎ Develops guidelines regarding information management, ensuring data security and protections are in place;
∎ Review datasets for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, for improved data quality;
∎ Review the received information/data to make sure the received information is accurate/timely and consistent.
∎ Research, Learning and Analysis:

∎ Develop and implement regular monitoring and evaluation activities for the protection program;
∎ Collaborate with program teams to discuss, analyses and interpret findings for improved contextualization and understanding of IRC Protection and other external IM focal points as appropriate;
∎ Ensures quality information management including beneficiary count in coordination with the PRoL coordinator and the information management team;
∎ Design and develop tools and systems to carry out the program monitoring plans and protection monitoring, as well as a comprehensive yet user-friendly program-wide database for each program.
∎ Staff Performance Management, Learning & Development:

∎ Hire, and supervise team members in meaningful technical and management competencies.
∎ Design and roll out capacity building to build the strengths of the team in Bangladesh.
∎ Coach, train, supervise and mentor direct-report staff, including communicating clear expectations, setting annual performance objectives, providing regular and timely positive and constructive performance feedback, and providing documented semi-annual performance reviews.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and mentorship to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Approve and handle all attendance and leave requests to ensure adequate departmental coverage; ensure monthly, accurate timesheet submission and carry out probationary reviews.
∎ Hold high-quality meetings with each direct report on a regular and predictable basis, at least monthly.
∎ Provide a measurable development plan including on-the-job learning with the aim of strengthening technical capacity, exchanging knowledge and lessons learned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years NGO experience preferably in a management role.
∎ Previously working with any local or International NGO.
∎ Statistics, and data analysis are all relevant areas of study or experience
∎ Experience with descriptive data analysis and/or data management
∎ Full professional competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other data analytics software.
∎ Experience with business intelligence and analytic tools such as ONA, or Kobo
∎ Experience developing case management databases in a humanitarian context. Ideally support in adapting Compare or Primero.
∎ Experience using ArcGIS is desired
∎ Able to think critically about data and information, triangulating and cross-checking data when needed and with minimal mentorship.
∎ Disciplined and independent
∎ Excellent visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data.
∎ Very good analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail;
∎ Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines;
∎ Good interpersonal skills and can work as part of a team, as well as independently;
∎ Excellent analytical, writing skills and fluency in English.
∎ Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure effectively and productively;
∎ Additional qualities: ability to multi-task, ability to improvise, flexibility, adaptability to handle transitions and change. A deep understanding around humanitarian and data protection principles.
