Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, or related discipline. 

Experience: Minimum 03 – 05 years of relevant experience in project management Skills Training Programme delivery along with soft skills in TVET institutions, NGOs, or community organizations. 

Age: The Age limit for the applicant would be 40 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.  

Others: 

  • Excellent command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.

  • Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development work.     

  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Nature of Job: Project Staff

Job Location: UCEP Mirpur TVET Institute, Mirpur, Dhaka

Job Purpose: The Talent Partnership Project, implemented by ILO in collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh, aims to match the skills of Bangladeshi workers to the demands of European labor markets particularly in sectors like health, ICT, agriculture, care services, hospitality, and engineering while strengthening protective mechanisms to safeguard their rights and dignity.

Together with the ongoing Skills 21 Project, this intervention comprises a holistic approach to developing a proficient workforce, improving employability, and securing decent employment for Bangladeshi workers abroad. The two initiatives will leverage their synergy to maximize impact from developing industry-relevant training and qualifications, to strengthening stakeholders’ capacities, policy mechanisms, and delivery systems and collectively contribute to a more flexible, protective, and sustainable migration framework.

To support the activities under Skills-21 and Talent Partnership Projects, UCEP Bangladesh will implement a comprehensive set of activities designed to improve the quality, relevance, and inclusiveness of skills training, with a focus on aligning Bangladesh’s TVET ecosystem with European Union (EU) labor market standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote and uphold UCEP Bangladesh’s core values, mission, and vision in all aspects of the work and organizational engagement.

  • Support the development of admission plans and training schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Lead the trainee admission process and provide orientation sessions to help them make informed training and career decisions.

  • Supervise and monitor the delivery of both theoretical and practical sessions conducted by skills and language instructors.

  • Design, develop, and regularly update market-driven curricula, competency standards, job sheets, CBLM, CSLB, and other instructional materials.

  • Prepare and revise training resources, including session plans, learning materials, and curriculum-based documentation.

  • Support participant selection and maintain accurate and updated training databases.

  • Coordinate with the Industry & Liaison Officer to arrange on-the-job training or Dual Training System (DTS) placements with industry partners.

  • Collaborate with industry and employment stakeholders to align training programs with labor market needs.

  • Monitor learners’ progress through ongoing assessments aligned with qualification packages.

  • Liaise with NSDA and other authorities to conduct final assessments and ensure certification for graduates, RPL participants, assessors, and instructors.

  • Support implementation of informal apprenticeship and entrepreneurship development programs.

  • Conduct capacity building for instructors and project staff on curriculum implementation and vocational training.

  • Monitor the quality of training delivery and provide technical assistance for continuous improvement.

  • Assist in the procurement, delivery, and management of consumable training materials and equipment.

  • Support the organization of job fairs, industry events, and placement-related activities in coordination with the Industry & Liaison Officer.

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports including training progress, pre- and post-training evaluations, feedback, validation findings, and scale-up or phase-out plans.

  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the management to support the effective implementation of the TVET and skills development programs.

Job Other Benifits:

    Monthly Salary: BDT. 67,000/- (Consolidated). TDS (Tax deducted at source) and any other statutory deductions will be applied as per government rules and UCEP policies.

    Compensation & Benefits: As per project and organizational policies.
